The tournament was going to played in SriLanka but due to current situation in the country it is moved to United Arab Emirates(UAE).

 Both of the teams will be playing their opening match against each other on 28th August in Asia Cup 2022. Many of cricket fans are very excited for the match between two rivals and well-known teams. It will be played in Dubai International Stadium at 7:00PM PKT and 2:00PM GMT. Captain Rohit Sharma will be leading the Indian team, whereas to lead Pakistan cricket team will be Babar Azam.

And Pakistan will wear black armbands during the match in support of floods affected during recent months.

Both of the teams are placed in Group A with Hong Kong alongside. Whereas Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sari Lanka are in Group B.
