Recently Chinese government announced scholarships for international students/scholars of 2023-24. And also includes a collaboration between HEC and the Government of Pakistan. It provides an opportunity for students who want to conduct their study or research in Chine or Chinese universities. It will help them to study at more than 274 universities in China. It is one of the top initiatives of the Chinese government which allows international undergraduate, master, and doctoral students and scholars to study and research in china and in 274 Chinese universities. Which makes China the 3rd most offering scholarship country in the world. This scholarship is for those students who want to continue their studies or research for the 2023 upcoming academic session. Which covers all the major expenditures (such as Flights, Tuition fees, accommodation, and medical insurance).

This program is partnered with Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, and China Scholarship Council (CSC), China.

Program Offers

The Chinese government scholarship invites undergraduate, master, and doctoral students and scholars to be enrolled in some degree programs which require one-year Chinese language studies. It is a fully funded scholarship which includes,

• Travel Expenditure
  
• Stipend (monthly) - According to china government scholarship program.
  
• Accommodation - Free stay at university or accommodation subsidy to each selected students.
  
• Tuition Funds - Which may cover education, health and insurance, administration costs and expenditures to support student activities.

Eligibility Criteria

You should meet the following requirements to apply for the scholarship.

• Any international students (not a Chinese citizen), includes Pakistan/AJ&K national. Dual nationality are not eligible.
• Applicant must be physically fit and healthy.
• For undergraduate/bachelor program, students must have 12 years of education and be under age of 25.
• The candidate must not availed any scholarship from Chinese government before.

How to Apply

 If you are already familiar with online scholarship application process, so it will look very similar to you. Like all required information and documents should be provided. And they must be related to you and correct.

1. You can apply on scholarship page of HEC official site. Click Here to apply. Fill your information in your HEC profile, and please select "Learning Opportunities Abroad". After submitting the application, you need to download the application and get the printout and sign on it.
2. Now you need to apply your application on China Scholarship Council (CSC) website portal through program Type: A and Agency number 5861 (Only for Pakistani student). Click Here to apply. And download submitted copy of completed application form from CSC and keep a signed copy of it.
   
3. You must submit your application on both websites, CSC and HEC portal.
