Every year between April and May Japanese Embassy opens application for students to study in Japan on Japanese Government (MEXT) fully-funded scholarship. The MEXT Research scholarship is for those students who wish to study in graduate courses (Master's or PhD) in Japan. So, If you are a such student, then it would be a great opportunity for you to study in top notch universities of Japan for free. The students should apply for the field to study they majored in their undergraduate or relevant field.

Deadline

The scholarship will close receiving applications on May 10, 2024. Remember, it is always better to apply before few days of the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

Only those applications will be succeeded who satisfy the following qualifications and conditions.

• Applicants having the nationality of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan.
• Those applicants who has Japanese nationality at the time of application is not eligible.
• Applicants under 35 years of age or born after April 2, 1990.
• Applicants who have completed 16 years of education for master's courses.
• Applicants who have been awarded a master's or other equivalent to a master's degree or 18 years of education are eligible for doctoral study.
• Those applicants who have no physical or mental conditions to study in Japan.
• Applicants should be willing to learn Japanese language and must be interest in Japan.
